MAKE CHILDREN FIRST AWARDS - Press Release
The Terrace Make Children First Initiative has donated $10,000 in bursaries and scholarships to students enrolled in the Post Basic Early Childhood Education program at Northwest Community College. Eligible students should live within school districts #82 and 92 (anywhere between Kitimat and Stewart, Kitsumkalum to the Hazeltons, including the Nass Valley).
BURSARIES
Bursaries, based on financial need, totalling $6000 will be awarded as follows in the first year of the program:

SCHOLARSHIPS
Scholarships totalling $4000, based on academic achievement and effort, will be awarded as follows in the second year of the post basic program. Recipients of these awards will be selected by the program faculty.
